My husband and I have lived in Island Cove Park for about 26 years. It has truly been a wonderful place to call "home" from the first day we arrived. The natural beauty throughout and surrounding the park, and nearby island, is so lovely and quite remarkable. It's amazing to live in such a secluded area, yet be in walking distance to downtown Durango. We feel so fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to enjoy such an ideal setting for all these years. We are also very grateful to the most recent owners of Island Cove. They have invested a great deal of their time and resources to make such significant enhancements to the park, and have been so gracious to us as we have made efforts to keep our home looking its best; for our own benefit and for that of the entire community. Our experience has been that they truly care about keeping Island Cove a most beautiful place for all to enjoy. That takes commitment; and a willingness to invest their time, care and financial resources into helping make our lives better. Without reservation, we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Island Cove Park as a place to live!

One of the best parts of living in Island Cove is the proximity to the Animas river and the flora and fauna that is abundant here. One can walk out onto the private island and be in the shade of giant cottonwood trees while watching the various animals that ply the river and the shoreline. I've watched the goslings appear in the spring, seen deer cross the river to graze the island and have even seen a beaver every now and then. It's like living next to a small nature preserve right in the heart of Durango. Just one of the reasons that Island Cove is a special place to live.

My partner and I absolutely love living in Tiny Town at Island Cove. The island and river is a sanctuary for us, and we have so enjoyed growing our own food alongside our neighbors in the community garden.

My wife and I have been Island Cove residents for about 6 years now. I'll start by saying that we absolutely love being at Island Cove! It is impossible to beat the location, the island and the affordability for us. We are within walking distance of Main ave, the river-trail, countless hiking trails and Chapman Hill Ski area. We really enjoy our lives here at Island Cove, Island Cove is a beautiful, affordable and safe place to live. We very much trust and enjoy all of our neighbors and are so grateful to be a part of this Tiny Home community!
